Karen Jonsson || ceramics || paintings || exhibitions

Born in Winnipeg Karen Jonsson graduated with a BFA (Honours) degree (Major–Ceramics) in 1993. After graduation, she received a professional development award from CIDA (Canadian International Development Agency) to teach pottery in Anguilla, BWI for six months. Following her experience in Anguilla she taught pottery to adults and continued to exhibit her artwork in Manitoba.

In 1997 Karen received her Bachelor of Education Degree from The University of Manitoba and began teaching in Manitoba high schools. Karen currently teaches Senior High School in Winnipeg while producing and exhibiting her pottery, drawings and paintings.
