Jim Corbett has been an artist for thirty years with a passion and interest in art for as long as he can remember. Throughout his career, Jim was predominately a realist - accurately portraying each subject to the best of his abilities.

In recent years Jim felt compelled to make profound changes in his work. Taking detours as an artist, searching to expand his talent, experimenting as if on a travelling odyssey.

Now drama, emotion and energy are the elements I focus on as each piece is created. The paintings are landscape inspired and symbols of my visual experience.
