Ann Rallison was born and educated in England. Having obtained her first degree at Chester College, Liverpool University, she taught for eight years before immigrating to Canada in 1986.

Ann pursued another degree at the University of Manitoba specializing in art education and art history. She currently teaches for the Winnipeg School Division. Ann believes to be an effective teacher you have to keep on learning.

While living in Winnipeg Ann furthered her knowledge and practice of fine art concentrating on printmaking. She is an active member of the Manitoba Printmakers Association, and the Manitoba Association for Art Education.

Ann Rallison draws inspiration from her travels in North America and abroad. The interest in African animals comes from a desire to travel there next.
