Helma works out of her home in the town of Winnipeg Beach at the edge of Boundary Creek Marsh. For some years now, the artist's work depicts our large migratory birds such as terns, gulls, ducks, cormorants, geese, pelicans, and herons. She is well known for her compositions with red winged blackbirds.

Helma is director & co-founder of Winnipeg Beach Art + Culture Co-op/WINNBAC The WAVE Artists' Studio Tour.

During the summer she welcomes the public to her studio at Boundary CreekMarsh in the town of Wpg Beach. She loves to share her little corner of paradise.

The artist takes her inspiration from the landscape and from the news media, she then creates new signs and symbols interpreting this information. She always endeavors to reach for a universal meaning.

H. RogueRaiders works in mixed media, mainly acrylic paints, charcoal pen and oilstick. The ground can be brown paper, printing paper, canvas, wood, or found objects.
